Available again!

For the past 6 months I have had some wonderful tenants who have kept me spik and span. But now they are ready to move on, so once again I am getting ready for a tenant!
My current inhabitants will be moving out at the end of August, so if you happen to need a nice 2 bedroom apartment, I will be available for you September 1st!

So, what do you think? I'm all painted, I've got new curtain rods (very classy if you ask me) and of course curtains to go with them. I also wanted to show you a picture of my hallway and the master bedroom, but come back tomorrow for those, OK?
I think my landlord just wants to touch up the kitchen a little. I heard them say they were also going to install a new toilet in the bathroom, just so that it goes better with the new bathtub and vanity. I'll let you know what's going to happen there!

Look at me!

Today the wind and snow swept outside my windows, but my landlord painted my living room. I love it! It's not white, but the slightest blue.New curtain rods and curtains are ready to be hung. I'm going to look fabulous. Maybe you'd like to put a nice painting on on of my walls?
And can you see my shiny breakfast bar? All you have to do is put some stools under it. I can just see you sitting there, can't you?

If I weren't a 2 bedroom apartment I would definitely have my bacon and eggs here.

way to wake up

What a way to wake up this morning!!
My landlord came down at 8.00 and started sawing and hammering on me. The noise was deafening! I think it even scared away the squirrel that was looking for a bite in the yard.
I'm just glad they're working on my breakfast bar again, maybe with some lights overhead?

which color?

Today I hardly saw my landlords at all. In the morning they came in with a measuring tape, measuring and writing down some numbers about my kitchen and bathroom. I could tell they were up to something, but don't know what.
Then they left and didn't come back until the afternoon.
This time they were putting swatches on my kitchen floor and holding colored pieces of paper up against my walls. I could hear them say things like: "What about this pattern? Do you like this color then? No, this goes really well together."
Can anyone tell me what is going on!?

(By the way, my favorite color is green... the color of the new grass I can see growing in front of my windows in the springtime.)

Today my landlady came down to clean my fridge and stove. It feels so fresh! I really enjoy a good scrubbing every now and then, don't you?
Minor problem: now that I don't have a tenant I really do miss the smell of apple pie baking in the oven. Are you any good at baking? Please come and bake me one!
