Today I hardly saw my landlords at all. In the morning they came in with a measuring tape, measuring and writing down some numbers about my kitchen and bathroom. I could tell they were up to something, but don't know what.
Then they left and didn't come back until the afternoon.
This time they were putting swatches on my kitchen floor and holding colored pieces of paper up against my walls. I could hear them say things like: "What about this pattern? Do you like this color then? No, this goes really well together."
Can anyone tell me what is going on!?
(By the way, my favorite color is green... the color of the new grass I can see growing in front of my windows in the springtime.)

Applepie
Today my landlady came down to clean my fridge and stove. It feels so fresh! I really enjoy a good scrubbing every now and then, don't you?
Minor problem: now that I don't have a tenant I really do miss the smell of apple pie baking in the oven. Are you any good at baking? Please come and bake me one!

Right now you really caught me at a bad time. My landlords have made a mess of me, but they promised me that in a few weeks time I will look better than ever. Come February I will be ready for you!
Here's the thing: they have torn down part of the wall separating the living room and the kitchen. It didn't hurt, but now there's dust all over me. And I just had all my carpets cleaned too! I guess a thorough vacuum job will clean up that dust though.
Just look at that gaping hole in my wall! My landlords say they are going to make a breakfast bar. I would really like that! What do you think? Would you like to have your bacon & eggs at my new breakfast bar?
